Job description
We are looking for an experienced and skilful case maker/export packer with 5 years of recent casemaking, export packing and/or wood machinist experience. The salary rates we offer will reflect the experience and skill of the applicant.
You must be able to work accurately to deadlines, work well as part of a team and have a willing and flexible attitude towards the job.
Our job at Tuplin Gatwick involves:-
- working with timber and plywood to build and produce crates, packing cases and pallets for our clients' products.
- using power saws
- nail guns
- drills
- other hand tools
- Cutting foam for crate inserts
- forklift operation
- on-site packing for customers
- local customer deliveries when required
- working to high standards of quality and health & safety
- physical and varied work (heavy lifting is involved)
Salary is according to skills and experience. Paid overtime is available at busy times.

We have major customers across all sectors including medical and scientific, aerospace, industrial and fine art. We have been in business for more than 40 years and have 4 factories across the South East of England.
