Our team takes pride in delivering a great customer experience, whether it’s a busy summer weekend or a crisp winter morning. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable Cook to join our hardworking kitchen team.
The Role:
As a Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be working with fresh ingredients, supporting the Head Chef, and sometimes running the kitchen during quieter shifts. This role requires someone who works well under pressure, takes initiative, and maintains a smart, professional appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard - our main dishes include all day breakfasts, panini, jacket potatoes, barista coffees, homemade cakes, etc
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in line with food safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning and food prep
- Work as part of a team during busy service periods
- Take initiative during quieter shifts or when covering team absences
- Ensure food is presented well and served promptly
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or café environment preferred
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and initiative
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A smart, clean, and professional appearance at all times
- Willingness to work weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays as part of a rotating rota
