We are seeking a passionate, experienced and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist with food preparation as required, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance with menu selections, creating a positive experience for all patrons.
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance as needed.
- Keep the work area clean and organised, including washing utensils and cleaning surfaces regularly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain a harmonious work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is crucial.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: £10.00-£17.31 per hour
