Fabricators and Welders play a crucial role in the company, tasked with joining metal parts together using various welding techniques. The precision and strength of their welds are central to the integrity and performance of the products and structures they work on, and the company delivers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
·Fabricate complex aluminium structures
Weld with Tig in various stainless/aluminium materials
· Assess which welding equipment is required and which method is the most appropriate for a specific welding task.
· Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment
· Study drawings or project specifications
· Assesses equipment, structures, materials, and job specifications for appropriate welding positions and methods
· Monitors equipment for appropriate usage and temperature
· Inspect welded surfaces and smooth them for the best finish
· Know how to calculate dimensions of parts to be welded
· Ensure all Welds are in accordance with Weld Procedures
· Align components to be welded, and clamp the pieces for stability where necessary
· Maintains safety protocols throughout the project by keeping their tools and equipment clean and working according to the requirement
· Inspecting and testing the weld to see if the job has been completed to the required standard and ensure conformance to specifications.
· De-burring and grinding
· Operate metal cutting tools such as saws, plasma cutters, and grinders to prepare materials.
· Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects
· Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
· Conduct quality control checks and troubleshoot issues to maintain high standards.
· Repair damaged metal structures and equipment through effective welding techniques.
· Maintain and calibrate welding tools and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
· Follow all company and industry health and safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
· Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and fabricators, to complete projects on time.
· Provide input on designs and suggest improvements to welding processes.

Qualifications/ Experience:
· Experienced in aluminium fabrication
Coding to a welding procedure
· Proven experience as a stainless/aluminium Welder in manufacturing
· Proficiency in TIG, welding techniques
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
· Familiarity with welding codes and standards
· Physical stamina and ability to work in demanding environments (e.g., confined spaces, high heat)
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to challenges.

Pay: £18.00-£30.00 per hour
