What we are looking for
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a world-renowned venue, working on a variety of events from bespoke meetings and private celebrations to large exhibitions and weddings.
We welcome applicants from a wide range of event backgrounds whether youve gained experience in hospitality, event coordination, project management, or client-facing roles. What matters most is your enthusiasm, creativity, and ability to deliver exceptional experiences.

What youll be doing
- Planning & Coordinating the smooth delivery of events of all sizes, from meetings and conferences to exhibitions, weddings, and much more. Youll manage event details, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure everything runs to Ascots high standards.
- Client Experience Acting as a trusted contact for our clients, guiding them through the planning journey, hosting site visits, being the face of Ascot Racecourse and ensuring every event is delivered with care, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Collaboration & Communication Working closely with internal teams and our catering partner to coordinate logistics, staffing, signage, equipment, and facilities, making sure all elements come together seamlessly.
- Commercial & Financial Oversight Supporting revenue growth through upselling, managing contracts and invoices, keeping systems accurate, and ensuring billing and financial processes are delivered on time.
- Team Contribution Attending planning meetings, supporting the wider team, and embodying Ascots values while contributing to the success of the Commercial team.
- Flexibility Getting involved in special projects and occasionally supporting live event delivery on racedays and major events.
Skills and experience you can bring
- A degree in Business or Event Management or related field or equivalent
- A genuine passion for events and customer experience
- Hands-on experience in planning multiple events simultaneously
- Strong organisational skills
- Good sales experience to upsell events where applicable
- Experience using event management systems
- Creative flair combined with strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with stakeholders at different levels
- Experience working within sport, events, leisure or hospitality is desirable, but not essential
- Proficiency in MS Office including Teams and Sharepoint
