Enhance Academy Trust is a growing Church of England MAT based in Wakefield and Kirklees. We currently have thirteen Primary academies and a Post 16 Creative and Performing Arts free school within the Trust and will grow to sixteen primary academies in September.
This newly created role will join our Central Team, working with the Trust Estates Manager to provide essential operational, and compliance support for the Trust’s Estates team, with responsibility for managing a range of estates, facilities, and health & safety functions.
Some Key Responsibilities of the Post:
- Provide essential administrative support to the Trust Estates function across key areas such as health & safety, compliance, and facilities management ensuring accurate maintenance of records, data, and documentation, and producing reports as required (e.g., asbestos registers, compliance logs, etc.)
- Support the implementation of health & safety standards across the Trust, ensuring full adherence to the Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH regulations, and the Trust’s Health & Safety Policy.
- Plan, Coordinate and monitor scheduled health and safety training programs for staff.
- Assist the Trust Estates Manager in the preparation of Board level meeting papers, strategy documents and as required, the capital building programme.
- Serve as a liaison between Site managers, Caretakers, and Central staff, facilitating effective communication across all sites

Here are some examples of the personal qualities we are looking for:
- Ability to communicate and engage with people both verbal and in written in a clear and concise way concise way to senior staff within the schools and Central Team.
- Experience of working within a school setting would be an advantage
- ITT literate with a working ability to use key IT software to present work to a high standard
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/Access/PowerPoint
The role will involve some travel to the schools within the Trust so you must be willing to travel.
