About the Opportunity 

We are seeking a highly collaborative, skilled and experienced Engineering Asset Change Manager to work alongside our NNEP Leadership Team on a key strategic, delivery partner framework in the UK defence industry with a value of circa £750m. The successful candidate will play a key role shaping efficient delivery of Asset Change Management requests on behalf of a business unit or project, whilst maintaining the correct balance between delivery and governance. The Engineering Asset Change Manager will manage change with awareness and compliance to the nuclear license conditions, conventional industry safety and environmental regulations, and working knowledge of project or change delivery. 

This position will require regular attendance at our client site to develop stakeholder requirements and build critical relationships for success. However, work-life balance and flexibility are a focus for Amentum. We're happy to discuss patterns and locations to suit you and our business.

Your responsibilities will include

•    Be responsible for delivering Asset Change Requests to enable a solution-driven approach, enhance technical opportunities, reduce risk and engineering control change management - socialise and agree with NNEP and wider client stakeholders.
•    Work alongside project teams to ensure that the right information is being captured. 
•    Develop a solution-driven culture that focuses on opportunities and value-plus approach and manage and mitigate risks.
•    Ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels
•    The ability to manage multiple workstreams
•    Decision maker with proven problem-solving capability

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

•    Project Management experience
•    NC/HND/Graduate level qualification or equivalent in engineering, business management, project management, construction industry, manufacturing Industry, environmental or health and safety related discipline.
•    Experience of working within a regulated environment.
•    Experience and knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment.

This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. The security clearance process may require non-British nationals or dual nationals (i.e. those with British and another nationality) to be subject to additional evaluation, depending on nationalities held and the nature of the work to be carried out
