We are seeking a skilled Dismantler to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. As a Dismantler, you will play a crucial role in the disassembly of various components, ensuring that all parts are handled with care and precision. Duties
- Dismantle machinery and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Carefully remove and sort components for recycling or reuse.
- Inspect parts for damage or wear, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Follow all operational procedures and guidelines to ensure quality standards are met.
Experience
- Proven experience using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Previous experience in dismantling or similar roles is advantageous but not essential.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques within the dismantling process.
