Job summary
We are looking to appoint health care support Assistants who are enthusiastic, motivated with a passion for caring to join our dedicated Team on Endoscopy units across both sites- Musgrove Park Hospital and Bridgwater community Hospital.
The unit is a JAG accredited centre, which has three rooms across both sites and with a forthcoming new surgical centre which will have a brand-new endoscopy suite . Our team rotate between both hospitals, gaining experience across admissions, procedure support , recovery , discharge and pre assessment . you will develop a full range of skills and competencies, supported every step of the way. We provide structured training and mentorship, so you can build confidence and competence in advanced endoscopy nursing .
Our unit prides itself on being welcoming and supportive with a blend of experienced staff and new starters. You will be joining a friendly multidisciplinary team where collaboration and professional growth are encouraged.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
Experience of working in a care setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided.

There will be an expectation of a flexible approach to shifts patterns with a commitment to participate in the on call service after appropriate training.
