Role Overview
We are hiring an Edge Asset Manager to support hardware and logistics operations for global edge infrastructure sites. The role includes managing asset inventory lifecycle, coordinating internal and vendor deliveries, and ensuring data accuracy across systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage asset lifecycle for servers, network, circuits, and hardware
- Coordinate additions, decommissions, RMA, and migrations
- Track equipment ordering, shipment validation, delivery, and acceptance
- Perform audits, cycle counts, and maintain inventory accuracy
- Maintain asset records across CMDB and internal platforms
- Serve as point of contact for asset-related inquiries from vendors and internal teams
- Coordinate inbound/outbound colocation shipments
- Liaise with Supply Chain and Planning for updates and escalations
- Support spares strategy and track warehouse/VMI activity
- Monitor vendor hours and schedule ERAD logistics
- Drive data integrity, process documentation, and improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher
- 2+ years in asset/logistics operations
- Experience with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors
- Attention to detail and ability to manage large inventories
- Proactive and organized; thrives in fast-paced environments
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with inventory systems and JIRA or similar platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in telecommunications, CDN, or datacenter environments
- Experience supporting compliance audits and warehouse operations
- Familiarity with CMDBs, asset tagging, and supply chain workflows
- Experience conducting QBRs and managing remote hands/vendor coordination
