Position Overview:
Join our journey at My Playroom Nursery! We are a brand new, innovative nursery dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood care and education. We are seeking a passionate and creative Early Years Practitioner for our baby room, which caters to children under 2 years of age. If you are enthusiastic about nurturing the youngest minds and are eager to be a part of a pioneering team, we would love to meet you!
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM
Flexibility: Accommodative schedules available for the right candidate
Hourly Rate: Will depend on your qualification(s) and experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Child Development: Support the physical, emotional, social, and educational development of children.
- Educational Activities: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observation and Assessment: Monitor children’s progress and complete assessments, ensuring individual needs are met.
- Parental Communication: Keep parents informed about their child's development and daily activities.
- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively within the nursery team to ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in an early years setting.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS and its application.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
