Duties and Responsibilities
E-commerce Listings & Optimization
- Assist in creating, maintaining, and optimizing product listings across multiple e-commerce platforms (eBay, Amazon, Vinted, Etsy, Shopify).
- Research keywords, categories, and competitor listings to improve search visibility and sales performance.
- Help ensure product information (descriptions, images, and specifications) is accurate, professional, and optimized for each platform.
- Learn how to utilize AI tools for listing optimization and efficiency.
Inventory & Order Management
- Support the tracking of stock levels across platforms and help prevent overselling.
- Work with the warehouse team to ensure accurate pick, pack, and ship processes.
- Assist in identifying slow-moving stock and developing strategies to clear inventory.
Market Research & Growth Strategy
- Research current e-commerce trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
- Assist in testing new marketplaces and platforms for selling used and refurbished goods.
- Learn the fundamentals of pricing strategies, promotions, and customer demand analysis.
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with the founder and team members to understand how an SME runs a successful e-commerce operation.
- Gain exposure to sustainability-focused retail practices and the circular economy.
- Participate in mentoring sessions to develop your professional and entrepreneurial skills.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual with the following qualities:
- Education: Studying or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business, E-commerce, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Interest in E-commerce: Passionate about online marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, and digital retail.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, spot trends, and suggest improvements.
- Attention to Detail: Careful and thorough when working with product data and listings.
- Proactive and Self-Motivated: Willing to learn quickly, take initiative, and solve problems.
- Team Player: Comfortable working with others in a small team and contributing to overall success.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic understanding of online platforms (e.g., eBay, Amazon, Shopify) is a plus.
