Your role will be to assist the Team Leader in installing Fume and Dust Extraction Systems around the U.K. This role includes long hours, overnight stays as required and travelling around the U.K.
Our Company is based at Meadowhall, Sheffield and continues to expand.
Our team of 30 people operate nationwide dealing with Local Exhaust Ventilation equipment and its statutory requirements. We install Local Exhaust Ventilation equipment to improve Health and Safety in workplaces and ensure workers are not exposed to hazardous fumes and dusts which can affect their health. We operate in a diverse range of applications including Nuclear sites, Airports, Manufacturing, Education and Small businesses.
Responsibilities
Installations & Site Work
- To install and maintain all Fume and Dust Extraction Systems to the agreed standard
- To start off projects in line with company procedures
- To keep the Site Supervisor fully informed of progress and adhere to all procedures
- Working to tight time scales and pressure to complete jobs on time
- Working at height and in confined spaces as required
- High standard of workmanship is required
- Varied working hours and occasional overnight stays
- Overtime and weekend work available on request
Training and Supervision
- To complete all training as deemed appropriate to your job role
- Having any of the following training certificates would be advantageous to your application CSCS, IPAF, PASMA
- Driving license, commitment to Health and Safety, a high standard of customer service, good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative to overcome site problems are requirements
Salary - £27,092 per annum payable monthly in arrears, 50 hours per week, overtime paid thereafter at x1.5.
Annual Holiday Entitlement is 20 days per annum plus statutory holidays, which will increase by an extra day’s holiday for each continuous year of service following the first anniversary of employment and there after each January, up to a maximum of 5 additional day’s per annum.
Additionally an attendance bonus will be paid of £50.00 per calendar month to employees who do not have an unauthorised or sickness day off during any particular month up to payment of the allowance. The attendance allowance of £600 will be paid with your November pay for all employees who have completed full employment up to and including the month of October.
