Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dry Liner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of plasterboard and other materials to create internal walls and ceilings. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes. Work is on a well known 5 star central London hotel.
Duties
- Install plasterboard to walls and ceilings, ensuring precise alignment and secure fixing.
- Prepare surfaces by measuring, cutting, and shaping materials as required.
- Apply finishing touches such as jointing compounds and tape to create smooth surfaces ready for painting or decoration.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless integration of services within the structures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Conduct repairs or modifications as necessary during the project lifecycle.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
- Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness as the role involves manual handling and working in various positions.
