Dean & Wood Limited, a leading provider of products and services in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, is looking for a dedicated and reliable Driver to join our team at the Manchester branch.
Role Overview:
As a Driver at Dean & Wood Manchester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive fast and efficient deliveries, helping to build customer loyalty and enhance our reputation for exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering products to customers promptly and professionally.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assisting with trade counter customer interactions.
- Handling goods inwards, picking, packing, loading, and off-loading vehicles.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift truck is advantageous (training will be provided if necessary).
- Familiarity with computerised dispatch systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A full UK driving licence is mandatory for this role.
Additional Information:
- Flexibility is essential, as you will be required to work shifts between 6am and 6pm if necessary.
- Participation in the out-of-hours call-out rota is expected.
The Details:
· Hours: 42.5 hours per week (core hours are 7.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, however, you will be expected to work flexibly between the hours of 6am and 6pm if necessary
· Location: Manchester branch
· Salary: £26,984
· Holidays: 25 days plus all bank holidays, increasing by 1 day annually (up to 30 days).
