We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Driver CPC Trainer to deliver high-quality periodic training to professional drivers in line with Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for road safety, compliance, and helping drivers maintain and enhance their professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Driver CPC periodic training courses in accordance with DVSA standards.
- Prepare and update training materials to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.
- Assess driver knowledge and provide constructive feedback to support their professional development.
- Ensure accurate records of attendance, feedback, and course evaluations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of road transport regulations and industry developments.
- Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and professionalism among drivers.
- Liaise with transport managers and HR to schedule training and support driver compliance.
- Assist with audits and quality assurance checks as required.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Recognised teaching or training qualification (e.g., PTLLS, Level 3 Award in Education and Training, or equivalent).
- Experience in delivering Driver CPC courses.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Driver CPC legislation and road transport compliance.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Competence with IT and training delivery software (PowerPoint, Zoom, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Previous experience as an HGV or PCV driver.
- JAUPT-approved trainer registration.
- Experience with remote/online training delivery.

Pay: £175.00-£180.00 per day
