To deliver market leading drainage reports and estimating service meeting all client service level agreements.
To ensure reports conform to client’s policies and standards and building regulations.
To ensure Clients and other Operational Teams can understand the current status of each claim, by ensuring that our reports are clear and concise
Key Responsibilities:
Take information from site investigation and construct a repair method and costings.
Apply principles of insurance to ensure policy principles are upheld. Ensure reports comply with industry and client standards. Reports are to be set out in a common sense manner and designed to be interpreted by a non-professional in the industry.
Drainage reports to be written in accordance with the Drainage repair book.
Instruct repair methods which use the latest technology and minimise disruption to the customer
Making calls to customers who are not covered under their insurance. Explaining the reasons why and offering our services privately
Liaise with Drainage surveyors, site agents, project managers, area managers.
Determine if damage to drain/water pipe is covered under the policy
Ensure daily allocation of reports is completed.

Skills:
2-3 years previous experience of writing drainage reports
Interpersonal skills
Customer service
Attention to detail
Computer literate using all Microsoft Office applications but especially Word and Excel, including working with AutoShapes, macros, etc.
Some previous experience of CAD or similar drawing tools would be a bonus as the role includes preparing simple site drawings.
Experience of using AutoCAD.
Comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations.
Knowledge of Environment agencies regulations in regards to off mains drainage
