Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients. This position requires a blend of domestic skills, customer service expertise, and an eye for detail to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Assist with cooking and meal preparation as required, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client requests and ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the home or facility, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes.
- Support with organisation of household items and assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operation and high standards of cleanliness.
Experience
- Previous experience in a domestic role or similar environment is preferred.
- Skills in cooking are essential; experience in catering or meal preparation is advantageous.
- Customer service experience is highly valued; the ability to engage positively with clients is crucial.
- Janitorial or commercial cleaning experience will be beneficial in understanding best practices for cleanliness and hygiene.
