Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, including commercial spaces and hotels. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and an ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, lobbies, restrooms, and guest rooms in hotels.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist with occasional cooking duties as required in certain settings, ensuring food safety standards are upheld.
- Maintain an organised inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and guests.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or hotel environments is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
