Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at The Salvation Army. In this role, you will play an essential part in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our service users, contributing to the overall mission of supporting those in need within the community.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in facilities.
- Ensure all areas are well-organized and presentable for service users and staff.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events as needed.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Support the team in creating a welcoming atmosphere for individuals accessing our services.
Requirements
- Experience in commercial cleaning or similar roles would be helpful.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and service users.
