To supervise dogs in a Day School facility. To ensure the smooth running of a Day School facility. To ensure every customer has a positive experience. To perform administrative duties as required, including telephone and face to face work. To promote the services of the business in a positive way and to demonstrate commitment to the success of the business on a day to day basis. To work towards an Apprenticeship in Animal Care.
You must have a genuine love of dogs, be kind and gentle. To be polite and courteous to people. To be able to follow instructions and work to an extremely high standard. You must not be afraid of hard work, and be able to be on your feet all day. To have a good work ethic, and to want a career working with dogs.
As this is an apprenticeship, it is open to people of any age, with no previous qualifications (must not have any other animal care qualifications), however, the apprentice wage is £5.28 an hour, so regardless of age this would be the fixed rate for the duration of the apprenticeship.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship you must not be qualified above Level 2 in animal care and must have Maths and English at Grade D or above .
You will be asked to attend a trial day if successful after the first stage of interviews.
