We are seeking experienced compassionate and dedicated Support Workers with experience in learning disability mental health to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and assistance to individuals in need
. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, empathy, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to clients in care facilities.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report on the health and wellbeing of clients, ensuring their needs are met.
- Facilitate social activities and encourage engagement to promote mental wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Drive clients to appointments or social events as needed.
- Provide first aid and emergency response when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in residential care with supporting learning disabilities Autism Mental Health.
- Ongoing training will be provided
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient care with compassion and respect for clients' dignity
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
