Salary: £29,450.00 (Grade 3) per year (plus Inner London Weighting of £3,483.94, if eligible)

Who are Women’s Aid?
Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. We are a federation of just under 180 organisations which provide over 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across England. For 50 years we have campaigned on behalf of our members and survivors to shape policy and practice, and to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
Our support services, which include our Live Chat, the Survivors’ Forum, the No Woman Turned Away Project, the Survivor’s Handbook, Love Respect (our dedicated website for young people), the national Women’s Aid Directory and our advocacy projects, help thousands of women and children every year.
Purpose of the Digital Officer role:
The Digital Officer will play in key role in developing, executing, and analysing email marketing campaigns across the organisation. The postholder will edit and update the Women’s Aid website, as well as delivering seamless CRM integration across Women’s Aid platforms and supporting with a range of graphic design needs.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Digital Officer:
- To deliver content updates across the Women’s Aid website and events platform as required, working with web champions to ensure these meet the needs of target audiences and campaigns.
- Day-to-day oversight of the digital communications programme, including drafting, building, and distributing communications using Mailchimp to ensure ongoing engagement with our 50,000 contacts.
- To create graphic design assets to maximise exposure of Women’s Aid brand and to increase awareness of our campaigns.
- Develop and maintain a Digital Asset Management system; collating and storing data such as keywords and tags and sourcing appropriate stock images.
- To support with website functionality testing of events, donation forms, surveys, petitions, and automated emails.
- To provide assistance as required across the organisation on mass communications and appeals including tying in social and other new media channels where appropriate.
