The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Digital Ad Operations Executive to join our central Publishing Operations team here at Total Politics, assisting with both internal (marketing) and client campaigns across our media titles. This is an ideal opportunity for someone starting their career within the media and publishing industry, with a strong desire to learn and build their career path. You will be reporting to the Digital Campaign manager and will be scoping, building, and reporting on digital advertising campaigns for commercial clients across our websites and newsletters, as well as assisting with digital data reporting using platforms like Google Analytics and running digital ads for internal marketing teams.
This is a role with scope to grow within a developing digital operations team, so it would suit a driven individual who enjoys learning new tasks and platforms as they enter the market. We are a vibrant, collaborative team with a range of skills and interests, some with a background within Westminster and some from traditional media publishing. Being a good fit within the existing team and a desire to build your future career in media publishing is paramount – the more specific skills we will build on within the role.
Responsibilities
- Scoping, building, and reporting on digital advertising campaigns for commercial clients across our websites and newsletters.
- Producing digital data reporting using platforms like Google Analytics.
- Running digital ads for clients and internal marketing teams.
- Learning new tasks and platforms as they enter the market.
- Contributing to a vibrant and collaborative team environment.
- Identifying and acting on trends in data to serve a project goal.
- Handling multiple projects at once.
- Maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Ensuring strong communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Experience and Knowledge
- Knowledge in Google Suite (Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, Google AdSense).
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Strong numerical skills.
- A proactive self-starter with a passion for learning new things.
- An understanding of and an interest in digital trends and digital marketing.
- Knowledge of Wordpress or other CMS experience.
