Destination Weddings Consultant

Key responsibilities
· Handle a portfolio of weddings and provide full assistance to clients in the run up to their wedding in a personal and professional manner
· Take responsibility for the clients' complete satisfaction with Ionian Weddings, going the extra mile to ensure their expectations are exceeded
· Drive exceptional customer service and up sell extra services to enhance their wedding day
· Demonstrate excellent knowledge of all aspects of marrying in our destinations including documentation, seasonality, types of venues, logistics and expert advice
· Liaise with our suppliers in the Mediterranean to ensure client requirements are met
· Invoice clients & suppliers
· Assist clients with their documentation requirements
· Meet clients to discuss their wedding plans either virtually or face to face
· Assist with wedding pricing and catalogues
Requirements: Preferred job-related skills, personal skills & knowledge -
· Preferable: Wedding planning experience, ideally with destination weddings
· Essential: exceptional and proven customer service, organisational and communication skills
· Essential: positive “can-do” attitude and passion for weddings
· Good knowledge of Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Malta, Croatia and Portugal
· Meticulous attention to detail.
· Ability to work under pressure
· MS office proficient and IT savvy.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary and Benefits
· Hybrid working after training completed with 2 days in office and 2 days at home
. Opportunities to travel to our wedding destinations and take part in fam trips
· Salary is based on 30 hours per week. Working hours can be flexible. Occasional Saturday morning and evening work may be required if clients require call backs – this can be from home
· Based at our Guildford office in a prestigious location off the High Street
· Immediate start

Pay: £21,000.00 per year
