As the first point of contact for our patients, your role is crucial to the seamless running of our clinic. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Welcoming and assisting patients warmly upon arrival
- Managing appointment, patient bookings and clinical diaries
- Handling phone, email and face to face enquiries with professionalism
- Supporting clinical team with administrative duties and workflow coordination
- Maintaining a clean, calming reception area
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the best possible patient experiences
- Handling payments, patient records and documentation safely and efficiently
- Maintain and organise files, both physical and electronic, to ensure easy access to information.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly
- Strong background in customer service
- Confident and comfortable to be on social media
- Previous experience in an administrative role and customer service
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
- Attention to detail in data entry and clerical tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
Desired
- Previous dental experience
- Prevoius healthcare reception experience
- Experience in high end or private practice settings
