The Role:
As a Dental Hygienist /Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in promoting good oral health and delivering high standards of care to our patients. You will work alongside multi disciplinary clinicians and support staff in a well-equipped, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental hygiene appointments including scaling, polishing, and oral hygiene instructions
- Carry out periodontal treatments and preventative therapy
- Provide restorative treatments under the direction of a dentist (if dual-qualified as a therapist)
- Educate patients on oral health and preventative care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure cross-infection control standards are met
- Collaborate with the wider dental team to deliver excellent patient care
Requirements:
- GDC-registered Dental Hygienist/Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient care and preventative dentistry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Up-to-date knowledge of infection control and clinical compliance
- Valid indemnity insurance
