Join our Customer Relations team at Cheltenham Racecourse and help create extraordinary memories for our visitors during the 2025–26 season (October 2025 – May 2026). As the home of Jump Racing, Cheltenham hosts 16 fixtures including The November Meeting, New Year’s Day and the world-famous Cheltenham Festival.

The recruitment process includes a group interview session. There are different positions available depending on your experience and preference, with full training provided:
Sales Queries
You will assist customers with ticketing and sales enquiries, ensuring they receive accurate information and a seamless experience. This includes handling ticket queries and providing information on our fixtures and packages across the season.
Customer Information
As part of the Information team, you will provide support and guidance to racegoers. This includes giving directions, answering questions with professionalism and care to ensure that customers have the correct information.
Reception
The Reception team is often the first point of contact for guests and staff. You’ll help to answer the phones, direct customers and handle enquiries while providing a warm and professional welcome throughout the day.
Accessibility Support
This role focuses on assisting racegoers with accessibility requirements with empathy and patience. From offering practical assistance to coordinating with other teams, you’ll ensure all visitors have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.
Job Types:
- Average hours per raceday: Sales Queries 4–6 hrs, Customer Information & Reception 6–9 hrs, Accessibility Support 10+ hrs
- Pay: £13.20 – £15.00 per hour
- Contract: Part-time, 0 hours
Requirements
- Proficiency in English
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers effectively
- Ability to analyse customer needs and provide suitable solutions
- Experience in computers and smart phones is advantageous
- You must be available for the training course on Thursday 9th October 2025
