CCDO DEMOLITION SUPERVISOR
Anglian Demolition & Asbestos Limited is expanding due to increased workload and is seeking permanent CCDO Demolition Supervisors for multiple projects.
In this role, you'll support Contract Managers throughout the lifecycle of each project. Responsibilities include managing site teams, ensuring compliance with method statements and site file requirements, and upholding the high standards expected by Anglian.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and proactive problem solver, capable of adapting to daily site changes and making informed decisions in collaboration with the Contracts Management team. You’ll be expected to maintain a logical, efficient, and—most importantly—safe approach to all site operations..
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations and motivate site operatives to ensure productivity and morale.
- Plan and supervise the workload of all on-site teams to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved risk assessments and method statements.
- Adhere to and implement inspection and test plans to maintain quality standards.
- Enforce health and safety procedures, conduct safety inspections, and ensure site safety is maintained at all times.
- Manage and complete all site-related paperwork required for the Supervisor role.
- Liaise daily with Contracts Management to report progress and coordinate site activities.
- Prepare and complete daily/weekly reports, toolbox talks, daily activity briefings, site diaries, and all other relevant documentation.
- Communicate with clients as required, maintaining professional relationships and managing expectations.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week.
Requirements & Qualifications:
You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of:
- Proven experience working as a Demolition Supervisor, with a minimum of 5 years in the demolition industry.
- A strong work ethic and a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when required.
- Possession of a valid CCDO Demolition Supervisor Card (Red or Gold).
- Demolition Awareness NVQ qualification.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification (desirable).
- First Aid certificate (desirable).
- Asbestos Awareness certification (essential).
- A full UK driving licence.
