VACANCY: DELIVERY DRIVER/WAREHOUSEPERSON
MON-FRI 8AM-5PM
SALARY – £25400 per year
A vacancy has arisen for the above position in our Inverness branch.
Duties will include:
- Preparing and checking customer's orders ready for delivery
- Loading van efficiently and carrying out deliveries
- Loading/unloading lorries and booking goods in
- Booking goods in accurately to maintain correct stock levels and reorder as and when required
- Serving customers at trade counter and by phone
- Keeping all necessary paperwork up-to-date
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace in-line with Health and Safety rules and regulations
- Appropriate training will be given
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of plumbing & heating industry is an advantage but not necessary
- Your role will be customer facing so a smart appearance and outgoing, friendly personality is essential.
This is a varied role consisting of being out in our van delivering orders to customers, in the store serving at our trade counter or being in the warehouse making up orders or processing goods in from suppliers. Our depot is small but busy and requires excellent team work from all and not being afraid to muck in and help out in all areas of the business.
