Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver / Store Person over 25 to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent driving skills. As a Store Person you will be required to learn goods in, returns, and potentially sales. General warehouse upkeep and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery van or truck to transport goods to designated locations
- Picking orders for delivery
- Load and unload products from the vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Process goods in deliveries and stock shelves
- Process returns for suppliers
- General warehouse maintenance duties
Requirements:
- Must be over 25 with a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job
- Excellent driving skills with knowledge of local traffic laws
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
