Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any damages or discrepancies.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions, representing the company positively.
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with commercial driving practices and safety regulations.
