We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve deli items, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and upselling additional products to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to basic math principles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
