We are seeking a Deal Desk Manager to take ownership of our commercial deal process and the software tools that enable it. This is a pivotal role, sitting at the heart of our commercial organisation, working across functions to ensure deals are structured, priced, and positioned to drive both customer satisfaction and business success.The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with commercial insight, acting as a trusted advisor to sales teams and senior leadership while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage our Deal Desk function
- Serve as the primary administrator for our CPQ solution and deal desk tech stack.
- Own and maintain the product catalogue, pricing rules, discount logic, and approval workflows.
- Ensure systems and processes are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business goals.
- Enable seamless quote-to-close processes
- Support sales teams in navigating deal terms, contracting options, and risk considerations.
- Implement process improvements that increase transparency, efficiency, and control.
- Deliver training and enablement on pricing strategy, tools, and policies.
- Partner with commercial leaders
- Advise on deal structure, commercial terms, and negotiation strategies.
- Provide real-time support for complex deals, balancing customer needs with business policies.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop playbooks and guardrails for common deal types.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience leading and developing a high-performing deal desk or similar function.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing and sales strategy.
- Highly proficient in Salesforce, CPQ solutions, and CLMs.
- A results-driven, proactive, and adaptable approach, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills, able to align Sales, Legal, Finance, and Compliance needs.
- A natural curiosity and drive to improve processes and outcomes.
