• Have you got experience of supporting people with learning disabilities, who are Neurodivergent / Autistic and are perceived to have challenging / expressive behaviours?
• Could you support a person to meet their personal outcomes, health, wellbeing and personal care needs?
• Do you regard yourself as having a good level of physical fitness?
• Can you manage difficult and challenging situations, in a caring and sensitive way?
• Are you a person that can offer respectful and dignified support, to meet peoples' rights, choices and preferences?
• Can you support people to be part of the community and promote independence?
• Are you a people person, that is resilient, motivated, enthusiastic, kind, caring, friendly and thoughtful?
• Are you a good communicator and are you able to listen to others and relay and document information accurately?
• Are you able to maintain links with relatives, carers and other professionals?
• Do you hold a relevant qualification in Health and Social Care? NVQ/QCF Level 2?
• Can you work well under the direction of the service Manager?
• Can you work well within a team and on your own?

An Exciting Opportunity has arisen to work within Whitethorns Intensive Day Service.

• We are looking for *Temporary Day Support Workers X 2 - 28 hours per week.
• The service offers day opportunities for people with learning disabilities that require intensive
• interaction and positive behaviour support.
• The team support people to maintain their independence & skills, whilst promoting good health & wellbeing.
