This is a permanent role, working 22.5 hours per week at our Sense Centre in Smethwick, Birmingham. You don’t need any previous experience to become a support worker with Sense. You will join a great team at our service which offers a lovely warm and caring atmosphere.

As a Support Worker, you will be supporting individuals who are deaf, blind or have dual sensory impairments. The individuals we support have active lifestyles and you will be supporting them with personal care needs, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. The activities range from arts and wellbeing activities such as dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.

The Day Service is open Monday- Sunday and you must be willing to work some late nights and occasional weekends. You must hold a UK manual driving license, as during the shifts, you must be willing to drive an 8 seater mini bus.
