We are seeking a skilled Damp and Mould Specialist to join On The House, covering London and surrounding counties. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and prevent damp and mould issues in properties, ensuring high-quality solutions and customer satisfaction. This role involves surveying properties, identifying the causes of damp and mould, planning effective treatments, and issuing long-term warranties for completed work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed property surveys to identify sources of damp and mould.
- Diagnose the causes of damp and mould, including rising damp, penetrating damp, and condensation.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to eradicate mould and prevent recurrence.
- Provide clear, professional advice to clients on damp prevention and property maintenance.
- Prepare accurate reports and documentation for surveys and treatments.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and execute treatment plans.
- Issue warranties for completed damp and mould remediation work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in damp and mould surveying, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Strong understanding of damp and mould causes, prevention, and remediation techniques.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., moisture meters, thermal imaging).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex property issues.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with relevant software for reporting and documentation.
- A qualification in surveying, building science, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid UK driving licence (due to travel across London and surrounding counties).

Pay: £30,124.97-£70,498.03 per year
