Role Purpose:
Based on a set cycle, the role of the Warehouse Cycle Counter will be responsible for performing efficient and accurate perpetual counts within the Warehouse.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage all cycle counts to produce accurate inventory audits using RDT scanner
- Updating count results to Excel KPI
- Consolidation of SKU’s into fewer locations as directed
- Determine the root cause of location-based inventory discrepancies and suggest necessary corrections
- To conduct investigations using SAPB1 to analyse stock movements
- Report KPI findings to Team Leaders, Inventory Analyst and Supply Chain & Logistics Manager
- Commit to correct standards of manual handing to move products as required to facilitate cycle counts, replacing in the correct position on completion
- Assist in monitoring of ‘receiving vs. put-a ways’ and report any inconsistencies
- Ensuring all labelling requirements are met in a timely manner (GRN’s etc.)
- Other duties as required or assigned
- Commit to correct standard of Health and Safety and report all incidents using the appropriate reporting system
Person Specification
Experience
- Essential: Previous Warehouse Operator experience
- Desirable: Operating a forklift (Preferably D2)
Knowledge
- Desirable: Using a Barcoding system and stock control. WMS knowledge
Technical skills
- Essential: Computer Literate with knowledge of Windows operating system
