Cyber Underwriting Assistant

• Assist underwriters in the preparation and processing of new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
• Ensure all documentation, including policy schedules, endorsements, and certificates, is accurate and issued in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update underwriting systems and records to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with brokers and clients to handle queries and provide excellent customer service.
• Support the team in monitoring and reporting on portfolio performance.
• Conduct initial risk assessments and gather necessary information to support underwriting decisions.
• Stay informed about market trends and developments in the cyber insurance space.

• A keen interest in cyber insurance and a willingness to learn about the sector.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset, with a desire to contribute to the success of the Cyber team.
• Progress towards or interest in pursuing professional qualifications (e.g., CII) is advantageous.
