Job Overview
As a Server, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that customers have a pleasant experience throughout their visit. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and present menus
- Take accurate food and drink orders using data entry systems
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
Skills
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are highly desirable; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent phone etiquette for taking reservations or handling customer inquiries over the phone
- Proficient in data entry for order management systems
- Ability to analyse customer preferences to enhance service quality
- Experience in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
