We have an exciting opportunity to join our existing team to help support the growth of the business The Customer Service Representative will support the marketing team by providing administrative assistance, managing customer databases, and supporting lead generation and campaign activities. This role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations within the department, helping the business reach revenue and customer acquisition goals, and optimizing client satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Produce Sales Quotations and convert to Sales Orders.
· Maintain and update our CRM system with customer information, lead tracking, and sales pipeline details.
· Respond to customer inquiries and provide product/service information.
· Assist in planning and executing events such as Scottish Beauty Awards, Scottish Garden Festival.
· Act as the first point of contact for incoming sales inquiries.
· Update internal system with new prospects and all notes, plus converting to customers
· Previous sales experience is required
· Excellent communication and telephone skills.
· A high level of professionalism and persistent attitude
· Ability to learn quickly the systems and services we provide
· Ability to schedule own workload, prioritising to meet business needs.
· Ability to work on your own initiative, be proactive and organised.
It is essential you are well organised, good at time management, having the ability to work in a team and be a strong communicator.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette while interacting with customers.
- Assist customers in understanding products and services, guiding them through the purchasing process.
- Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Accurately enter customer data into the system and maintain up-to-date records.
- Analyse customer feedback and provide insights for service improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex customer issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while delivering exceptional service.
Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is highly desirable (bilingual/multilingual).
- Strong phone etiquette with the ability to engage customers positively.
- Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience.
- Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Ability to analyse customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour, capable of building rapport with customers.
