We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our talented team here at Cult Pens. The main purpose of this role is to support in creating and delivering our Social Media strategy to enhance our online presence, attract new audiences, and maintain customer loyalty. Copywriting will also feature heavily and understanding the Cult Pens ‘tone of voice’ will be essential.
Role and responsibilities:
- Work with Senior Marketing Manager to execute Social Media strategy. Optimising content to build brand awareness and drive organic traffic.
- Coordinate Social Media plan working closely with the wider team to identify relevant and commercial opportunities.
- Create unique and original content to showcase key products.
- Develop Social Media campaigns and manage them though key trading periods. Analyse performance and report back to Senior Marketing Manager with learnings and proposals for future campaigns.
- Support the wider marketing team with campaign planning and occasional copy writing.
- Contribute to Cult Pens blog and help develop ongoing content strategy.
- Keep on top of industry changes and appropriate tools and software to enhance all relevant marketing channels.
- Creative experience/knowledge of Photoshop or image/video editing software.
- 3+ years of experience working in digital marketing preferable, ideally including exposure to paid media/paid search and Klaviyo, Google AdWords/Google Analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as collaboration and planning skills.
- The successful candidate will be writing a fair amount of ad copy and will need to have a high standard of written English.
- Online content writing.
- Time management, punctuality and ability to meet busy deadlines while working effectively under pressure.
- Ecommerce knowledge/experience.
- A high level of attention to detail and a keen eye.
- A good knowledge of commercial indicators, market conditions and competitors etc.
- A real team player, with a willingness for development, growth and improvement.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and other MS Office applications.
- Creative experience/knowledge of Photoshop or image/video editing software.
- Solid understanding of SEO and experience working to drive organic traffic.
- Experience with Shopify/Shopify Plus platforms.
