Job Purpose
To identify and create unique product from various cruise suppliers and identify suitable marketing opportunities to maximise the ROI.
Reporting to
Managing Director
Roles and responsibility;
- Working closely with Head of Product and Head of Sales to maximise sales opportunities
- Key member of the team to develop and implement the Marketing Strategy to deliver optimum ROI.
- Sourcing new cruise product that best fit our existing assets.
- Taking the offer to market via
- Websites
- E-marketing
- PPC
- On page advertising.
- Ensure internal communication of targets and current promotions are in place
- Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
Web Marketing
Primarily responsible for the marketing on the B away corporate websites
- natural ranking, liaise with IT team to review existing written content and where necessary to optimise pages for specific keywords, keywords to be reviewed on a weekly/monthly and past yearly basis to ensure that the content is refreshed.
- to initiate creation of new pages as necessary within the same design of the corporate sites to facilitate new products/updated content
- SEO, to place and monitor PPC advertising
- to suggest new ways of implementing better e-strategies
- to source new relationships with link partners
- to source free (or low cost) methods of effective web marketing
Web Updates
- Update the Exclusive offers on an ad hoc basis.
E-Marketing
Responsible for the email marketing for all the individual products
- To work with the external marketing team to create a suitable design for emailed marketing
- Liaising with various platforms such as Cruise Critic and Travelzoo to negotiate placements of exclusive promotions.
Reporting
To produce management reports for the companies’ web/e-marketing
- to consolidate the web marketing tracking and to produce a monthly report
- web statistics
- brochure downloads
- PPC/Google Adwords/etc
- e-marketing responses
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Cruise industry product knowledge
- Windows based applications
- Office Suite especially Excel, Word knowledge Team player who can deliver task accurately and on time
Advantageous
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with handling some user IT issues
- Email marketing experience
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £27,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
