About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects to students aged 11-18.
- Maintain classroom discipline and support student engagement.
- Work flexibly, with opportunities for daily supply roles or long-term assignments in secondary schools across Rainham and surrounding areas.
Key Requirements
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Previous experience working with young people (e.g., teaching assistant, youth worker, or coaching roles) is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for education and supporting student development.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and subjects.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
