The Noah Training and Development seeks to address poverty by helping people to realize their full potential, through training and employment support.
This role plans and organizes the delivery of ESOL, and other training programmes as required. The role holder will manage the day-to-day running of these short courses, and complete administration and coordination in relation to the courses.
They will support the tutors to deliver exceptional courses and learner experiences. They will work with Head of Training and Development to manage funder relationships and report on various measures to the commissioners as required.
- Plan and organize training programmes to run in Luton,
- Timetable venues, rooms and staff to deliver and fulfil planned training programmes
- Manage the internal and external referrals process for the course
- Carry out interviews and course inductions for new learners
- Maintain individual learner and staff records, including achievement and attendance at activities.
- Maintain relationships with external contractors, volunteers,
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of courses by providing supervision and administrative assistance and dealing with issues if they arise
- Work with businesses and partners to arrange visits, talks, mock interviews, work placements and other activities
- Maintain database records and filing systems, and Salesforce by deadlines.
- Work with Quality Assurance Manager.
- Liaise with funders in monitoring and maintaining funding outcomes and invoicing
- Write end of project reports in consultation with the Training and Employment Manager
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure learners are signposted to the range of opportunities that may be available in NOAH
Successful applicants will have:
- At minimum of 2 years proven successful project supervision in an educational, training or similar setting.
- Excellent customer service skills gained through training, catering, retail or other service environments
- Previous experience of working in a team but also working under your own initiative.
- Excellent IT Skills including Word, Excel
- Comfortable working to deadlines and delivering against schedules
