Job Overview
We are seeking two reliable Courier Drivers to join our team. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently and safely to various locations.
This role is offered on a self-employed basis. The rate for owner drivers is negotiable between £165/185 per day dependant on the location of designated route. Owner drivers must have at least a medium wheel base sized van as the role will require a vehicle of this size to carry out the role.
Candidates who do not currently have their own vehicle will still be considered on a lower pay scale. In this instance, a van and fuel costs will be covered.
The operation currently runs across a full 7 day week. Applicants are expected to commit to five working days a week which will include weekend work. Applicants will be able to discuss and negotiate a work schedule which works best for them, provided they contribute towards weekend coverage.
Additional work is readily available and this is a permanent on-going role for the right candidate.

Duties
- Drive vehicles to deliver packages and pallets to set destination.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
- Perform heavy lifting when required
- Adhere to road safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to handle some heavy lifting
- Excellent communication skills
- A valid driving licence for commercial driving. No more than six penalty points.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
