Location: Waterman Cookery School, Belfast

Position: Part-Time / Full-Time (flexible availability, including evenings and weekends)

Waterman Cookery School is looking for a motivated, organised, and food-loving individual to join our team as a Cookery School Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support chefs during cookery classes, demonstrations, and events
• Set up workstations and ingredients before classes
• Assist students with equipment, ingredients, and instructions
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas
• Wash and organise equipment and utensils
• Help with stock management and deliveries
• Provide warm, professional customer service to class participants

Requirements:

• A genuine interest in food, cooking, and hospitality
• Friendly and approachable with strong communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentReliable, punctual, and highly organised
• Flexible schedule—including evenings and weekends
• Previous kitchen experience is essential
• Basic food hygiene
