Role: Cook and Resident Support
Location: Sherborne
Hourly Rate: £13.21 - £13.62 from
Contract: Permanent - 16 hrs p/w (2 day week, alternating weekends)

What We’re Looking For:
- Confidence in cooking for up to 9 people
- Strong organizational skills, ready to handle a variety of tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine understanding of the needs of older people
- Basic computer skills (Outlook and Excel experience is a plus, but full training will be provided)
About the Role:
- At Abbeyfield Living Society, our goal is to create a warm, community-focused environment where residents feel valued and respected. As a Cook and Resident Support team member, you’ll ensure that residents enjoy wholesome, home-cooked meals while also being a friendly face they can turn to for support.
- You’ll also assist with general wellbeing, handle any issues that arise, and escalate them when needed.
- Basic computer and budget management skills are helpful, but full support and training will be provided by our welcoming team.
