We’re Hiring – Café Cook at No 5 Cafe
No 5 Cafe is looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our small team in the café. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys cooking simple, wholesome food and being part of a busy but welcoming environment.
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (daytime only – no late nights!)
What you’ll be doing:
- Cooking breakfast items on the grill (Think Toast, bacon, sausage, oatcakes etc.)
- Assembling fresh sandwiches with our homemade fresh bread from our bakery next door
- Serving up our daily soup and dal and other seasonal items
- Helping keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and stocked
- Working as part of a supportive, close-knit team
What we’re looking for:
- Some kitchen or café experience (but attitude and reliability matter most)
- Someone organised, with good attention to detail
- A team player who’s happy to muck in and keep things running smoothly
- A love for good food and friendly service
