Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences of residents.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and hygienically, adhering to food safety standards.
- Plan menus that cater to the nutritional needs of our residents.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with care staff to understand residents' dietary restrictions.
- Assist in meal service, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for residents.
- Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Participate in training sessions related to food safety and culinary skills.
Qualifications * Proven experience as a Cook or similar role, preferably in a care home or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
